I created a web presence just for fun. It surprised me that every one of my friends created a web presence, so I figured I should too. The new hype of social interaction was Facebook. Facebook was initially for college students, but I created my personal profile when I was in high school. Within the presence of the web, I uploaded pictures of myself hanging out with friends and family. The dominant images that are shown represent a sense of my character, charisma, and style. It also shows the same qualities of my friends and family. My web presence appeals to those who I have allowed to view it. My friends, family members and colleagues all have access to view my web presence. There are certain privacy features that prohibit the view of those who I choose not to share it with. Within my web presence I surround myself with those who share the same values as I do. It is evident that the values that are shared include self confidence, respect of our self image, and common interest with music, fashion, and much more. I believe people view my web presence as interesting, and informative. Within my web presence, I include uplifting quotes to get through a stressful day. In the future, I may decrease my usage of a web presence simply because I believe I would outgrow it and begin to focus on other things such as my profession and family.
